If I knew how to post an image here, you'd all get to see something really cool right now. As it is, since I know how to post an image on Twitter, those of you with a Twitter account can follow me @BillWillingham. Yes, you can.

Bill tweets "I'm not saying what it is. I'm only saying this year's San Diego Fables giveaway is going to be really, really cool"

That is awesome! I so want one, but alas wont be there.
Do you want to know the exact moment my life truly got weird? It was the time I met my first talking monkey.

I'm so proud of you I could drop kick an innocent little puppy.

Very very nice! Wish I was going...

Oh, and because I am an obsessive, heheheh, does this mean there is no one-page strip this year? So my mind can rest easy?

There is a way- eBay. Every year people try to sell the cool stuff they get from the con on eBay. I can almost guarantee someone will have one of these for sell there.

Let me rephrase that- I can only HOPE someone will have one of these for sell there... :)

I make no promises, this is not a guarantee or an announcement, or anything of the kind, but I do intend to have a conversation with the DC folks at San Diego about making another run of these items available through your comic shops for a much more reasonable price than you're likely to get from Ebay.

Note that the message on the neckerchief "Blue is coming back," is not a spoiler on what's coming up in future issues of Fables. It's a statement of support by those who want to show that they believe he will.

And now that we've decided to turn Stinky's cult into a real thing, I wonder if it could be one of those cults where you give all of your money to the cult leader(s)? Maybe the message on the bandana should read: "I believe Blue is going to buy me my own jet and a vacation villa in Tuscany." Too wordy?

Correct. This is what we're doing instead of a one-page story this year.

In that case, I must tell you a story.

I had a dream last night. The Blue One came to me. He told me to climb up to a mountaintop and when I did I felt my cellphone vibrate. A text message came from 843-258-3663 (THE-BLU-EONE) and it said, "CONGRATS! I have chosen you to be the official Tithe Collector of my new religion! Please prepare the way for my 2nd coming in gold!"

Then there was something about sending in my social security number and all my bank and checking account routing numbers or something, but I skipped all that stuff.

ANYWAY, as the official Tithe Collector for the Blue Religion, please make all checks payable to Chris Opperman.

On behalf of Blue, I thank you.

Can you help a brutha out, Mr. Willingham?

I can't resist asking since you brought it up, but how did you get banned from eBay?

(Feel free to tell me to mind my own business, by the way.)

Hopefully not.... it's actually a very good quality scarf ( I'm wearing one right now ). DC spent a lot on this as a BIG thank you to all our loyal readers coming to the con.

I was planning on a road trip to the San Diego for the con this year, but circumstances beyond my control (things like the world working to disrupt my life as much as possible) put the kibosh on my plans.

Thank you!!!

I am ssooo jealous of the people getting them.

I feel some kind of way, though, since I did start this thread to bring attention to Brock's cause....
