I have read Good Night Moon, several times actually. A day.

My one year old LOVES that book and I read it over and over to her.

I really enjoy reading them Dr. Suess. I knew he was good, but reading them as an adult, I really appreciate his rhymes and story telling.

My favorite Giesel book is the Lorax. An enviromental book before there was such a thing!

It's pretty cool. Looks like you are in one of the Suess cartoons.

My High School had a big Mural of the Lorax on one of our walls with the entire story written on it

That's pretty cool.

Was there a reason they had that done?

Not really, they had a bunch of murals and that happened to be one of the ones in the science wing

Where the wild things are

Thanks for the link, Steph.

You can't really tell much from trailers other than the look of a film, and I could tell from the stills I've seen that this film is going to look wonderful. Still, it's very nice to see how fluid and natural the movements of the Wild Things are. Really, their design is phenomenal.

What I'm hoping for, of course, is a story that carries some real emotional weight to it, and it looks like this has a shot. I want so much to love this movie, but in the past such a desire has burned me more than once (The Phantom Menace, Serenity, Hellboy II, ...) so I'm going to try to keep my expectations on an even keel this time. I know I'm going to fail at that, but I'm going to try anyway.

The CG looks really good, it almost doesn't seem like CG. I'm glad it looks good, but I'm with you Charles. I hope there is so amount of emotional weight to care the film a bit.

The Wild Things aren't CG are they? I thought they were a guys in suits with animatronic controls created by the Jim Henson folks.

It's a very fluid combination of live action, suitmation, animatronics and CGI.
